Renting bounce houses offers numerous advantages, more than I can fit on a single sheet of paper. However, I’d like to take a moment to share why I am passionate about renting bounce houses. Below is a list of my top 5 benefits of renting bounce houses and what has led me to the exciting world of entrepreneurship.

#1 Additional income: Whether you have one bounce house or one hundred, renting bounce houses can bring an extra paycheck every week.  The great news is that you get paid when you deliver the bounce house, so no need to wait until the next pay period to collect your money.  That money can then be used for many different things.  But my favorite use of the money I make from bounce house rentals is paying off debt.

#2 Paying off debt: After you get that extra paycheck for renting out your bounce house, you can easily start paying off that lingering debt. Whether it’s getting caught up with medical bills, or making an extra car payment, that extra payday from your bounce house rental could really help you financially.  For me personally, the first thing I did with the money I made was pay off college debt.  Next, I was able to pay off a credit card that I kept around way too long.

#3 Money for travel: Ever since I was in the military, I have always loved traveling.  I enjoyed visiting other parts of the country and also loved exploring overseas.  Owning a bounce house rental business has given me the opportunity to budget for traveling again.  I attend a lot of business conferences all over the country each year.  I also save money to go on vacation with my family, courtesy of the money I have made from bounce house rentals.

#4 Teaching lifelong lessons to your kids: One of the greatest benefits for me renting bounce houses is that my children have grown up learning this business. They have learned work ethic and learned about customer service. Most importantly, I get to spend a lot of time with my kids as they jump into a truck with me and help with setting up bounce houses. It has been very rewarding seeing them grow up and work to create businesses of their own.  It also helps when your kids have the coolest parents on the block because they get unlimited supply of bounce houses and waterslides at their disposal.

#5 Opportunity to replace your full-time job: If you are a person who is looking to replace their full-time job, renting bounce houses could be an option. It will take a lot of work and patience, but it is possible. Although some people are very happy with their full-time career, they could still benefit from the extra income the bounce house rental business can provide.  For me, it was very rewarding to leave my corporate job and start a full-time bounce house rental company. This may not be everyone's dream; However, it is an option for anyone who is willing to put in the hard work and do whatever it takes to be successful.

Owning your own business can be very rewarding; very challenging, stressful at times and nerve-wracking; but at the end of the day, it’s well worth it.
